Glenn Mangoes have quite the reputation for excellent production and flavor. The fiberless fruits ripen quickly and dependably from late May to June, making them an early season producer to warm the groves up for the rest of the mango season.
Native to Miami, the small to medium Glenn Mango tree was first born from a seedling of the Hayden variety and grows a dense canopy with up to 20 ft. in height. The Glenn’s pleasant yellow fruits ripen with an orange-to-red blush and are considered a favorite among many mango enthusiasts. Pick them when their green skin begins to blush and let it ripen the rest of the way from the kitchen!
